Dubai Miracle Garden

In the middle of Umm Suqeim area, one of the most beautiful gardens in the world arose - The Dubai Miracle Garden.  It is a vast garden composed of thousands of gorgeous flowers arranged into different forms - hearts, peacocks, etc.  It was a bit hard to find as it is secluded and not much signs were posted.

Check out this map for directions.

Entrance fees cost AED 20 for adults and kids alike but free for kids 3 years and below.

Dubai Miracle Garden provides and awesome and spectacular display of flowers.  However, I noticed that there is not much variety of flowers.  I don't know the name of the flower that they have in the garden, but it is usually the same type of flower that they have by the roads.  To be honest, it was nice to see the garden, but other than that there is nothing else that a visitor can do except to be amazed on the flowers.  My kids got bored and got only excited when they saw "a" dragonfly for the first time.

Keep in mind that the flowers are not to be touched.  They have staff literally in every corner of the garden to keep an eye on the stubborn ones picking and touching the flowers.

They also have food stalls so you don't need to worry just in case you ran out of food.

Here are my tips for those planning to go there:
  • Unless your children are interested in flowers, do not bring your children there.
  • Use sunblock as you will be walking under the sun without any shade at all.
  • Wear comfy shoes.
  • Bring "lots" of water.
  • Have your umbrella, sunglasses, and hats ready.
  • Plan your visit early in the day or late in the afternoon so as to avoid the sun.
Do not expect to get shots without other people as your background.  It's almost, if not, impossible to get good shots as there are a lot of people visiting the park as well.

Overall, it was a good experience for me.

If asked whether I am going back there - well maybe yes, but not soon.
